TIFTON, Ga. - In only their second year as an NAIA program, the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College baseball team is being ranked among the league's elite.
Wednesday, Perfect Game ranked the Stallions 24th in its 2026 Preseason NAIA Top 25.
Perfect Game's preview said that ABAC, along with Mission (Mo.) were "carving their own path to national relevance through toughness, development and postseason credibility." The story also cited "the speed at which the program established itself is remarkable."

Blake Williams' Stallions went 38-16 and advanced to the NAIA national tournament.
ABAC is off to a 4-2 start in 2026, including opening the season with a three-game sweep over Columbia International University. In six games, the Stallions are hitting .307 (while holding opponents to .203) and have smashed 8 homers. Twenty-seven of their 59 hits have gone for extra bases. On the hill, ABAC hurlers have a 2.82 ERA.

"Coach Williams has done a wonderful job with our baseball program and our players have performed outstanding to begin the 2026 baseball campaign, and looks to improve on last year's performance."
Tennessee Wesleyan is No. 1 in Perfect Game's poll. LSU Shreveport, defending undefeated NAIA champions, is No. 2. Fellow Southern States Athletic Conference teams Loyola, William Carey and Faulkner are 6th, 13th and 21st, respectively.
ABAC plays a doubleheader Friday at Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla. The Stallions play two versus Indiana University at South Bend in the same city on Saturday.
The Diamond Stallions are home Tuesday, Feb. 10 for a 3 p.m. contest with Thomas University, then have a three-game home set against Spartanburg Methodist Feb. 13-14.
