KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2026 NAIA baseball season concluded with another massive accomplishment for the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Stallions: a postseason ranking.

ABAC, which advanced to nationals for the second consecutive season, and broke the school record for wins, finishes at No. 21 in the NAIA's Postseason Poll.

The 2026 season was only the second for head coach Blake Williams' Stallions as an NAIA school, jumping for the NJCAA in the 2025 campaign.

"As a second-year program at the four-year level NAIA, we are very grateful for the hard work of our players to put this program on a national scale and earn recognition so quickly," said Williams. "We took over a program two years ago coming off a 19-win season and have turned that into over doubling our win total to 40 and being ranked. These players have set a new standard that we are all proud of for ABAC baseball."

ABAC went 40-17 in 2026, breaking the school mark of 38 victories, set last year. The Stallions won the regular season Southern States Athletic Conference championship and finished second in the SSAC tournament. During one stretch, they won 13 consecutive games, their best streak in more than a decade. Last year, the Stallions finished the year unranked, but received votes in the Postseason Poll.

Williams earned Mike Jacobs SSAC Coach of the Year and Zack Bowman, Chasin Cash, Kade Haywood and Quinten Rawls all earned First-Team All-Conference.

Fellow SSAC schools William Carey ended the year third nationally after a run during the NAIA World Series, and Loyola was 25th.
