Box Score DALTON – In the last few games, the ABAC Stallions have shown they could play with any team in the SSAC early on but had trouble keeping up for a full 40 minutes. But that was not the case Tuesday in Dalton.
The home-standing Roadrunners showed why they are the top team in the conference as they raced out to an early lead against the Stallions and never let up en route toa 104-69 win at the college's Bandy Gym.
ABAC was especially hurt inside as Dalton enjoyed a 48-31 edge in rebounding and outscored ABAC 58-26 inside. After opening the game with a 10-0 run, Dalton kept the pressure on, building a 60-37 lead by halftime before putting the game away after halftime. It was a rare poor shooting night for the Stallions, who finished shooting 32 percent from the field, even lower than their accuracy from beyond the 3-point line I34 percent).
Junior

th in the country.
