GAME 1

Ridleigh Rowell provided the RBI, singling in
Hannah Capps. Capps had reached with a double, moving to third on a fielder's choice by
Emma Humphrey.
Tess Rollins gave up only one earned run on the day.
ABAC was held to 5 hits. Capps was the only one that went for extra bases.
GAME 2
Lindsey Paul pitched a magnificent game against the Barons, giving up only 1 base hit and striking out 3 in a narrow 1-0 win.
It was a pitcher's duel all the way.
Neither team scored for the first 5 frames and ABAC's lone run came without courtesy of a hit.
Alli Eidson led off the 6th by forcing an error. Small ball saw
Carter Gore bunt Eidson to second.Â
Brewton-Parker got the second out, but
Shelby Smith got the hosts to commit another miscue and Eidson scored. ABAC finally got a hit in the inning, off
Ava Roland's bat, but could not score again.
The Barons went hitless until the 6th, but that runner was immediately thrown out trying to steal. Brewton-Parker's last five hitters went in order.
The Fillies had 4 hits in the second game, all singles.
From here, ABAC travels to Thomas University Thursday for a doubleheader. They'll be home again homecoming weekend April 10-11 for doubleheaders with Faulkner and Point.
