TIFTON, Ga. - Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College's Fillies split its second straight softball Southern States Athletic Conference series Friday, bringing its mark to 2-2 in the division.
Mobile won the first contest, 6-0, but

Robby Vann finished up for ABAC. Rollins fanned 2.
GAME 2
Lindsey Paul not only stymied visiting Mobile, Paul was efficient doing it, needing a scant 74 pitches. While Paul did not strike out anyone, she also did not issue any bases on balls.
Two runs in the 1st and a single run in the 2nd were all the scoring for the Fillies, but it was all they needed.
Carter Gore earned a two-out walk in the bottom of the 1st that turned into much more as
Emma Humphrey got a free pass and
Shelby Smith singled up the middle to load the bases.
Kinley Snider singled up the middle, plating Gore.
Ridleigh Rowell was hit by a pitch, bringing home Humphrey, making it a 2-0 game.
Mobile scored in the top of the 2nd, but ABAC got the two-run lead back in the bottom half.
Ashley Archibald singled, going to second on a sac bunt by
Lexi Metts.
Alli Eidson dinked a hit over third to put runners at the corners. The Fillies lined into an out, but in an attempt to double the runner off first, the throw went wild and Archibald plated.
From there, it was all Paul. She recorded eight consecutive outs in the middle innings.
Paul ran into trouble in the 5th, bases loaded and one out. But Mobile did not attempt to tag on a short fly to left, then Paul got out of it with a comebacker to the circle.
In the 7th, Mobile had two on and one out. Paul escaped again with an infield pop and another grounder to the box.
Snider had two of ABAC's five hits. None went for extra bases.
