Wallace belts two homers, Stallions win 10-6 over Brewton-Parker

TIFTON, Ga. - The longball was working for the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Stallions Friday as they rolled to a 10-6 victory over Brewton-Parker Christian.

Parker Wallace belted two homers to left - his first two of the 2026 season - and the Stallions hit four total while pounding out 17 hits.

The teams are two play twice Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

Drew Rothschild and Quinten Rawls joined Wallace in the home run parade. Every starter had at least one base hit for ABAC. Four of those were by Joe Cooney and Rawls and Wallace had 3 apiece.

Reigh Jordan picked up his 5th win of the season against a single loss. He pitched 6 innings with 2 earned runs against 7 strikeouts and 2 walks.

ABAC picked up its initial run in the 1st inning. Dylan Davis worked a two-out walk and was doubled in by Cooney.

In the 3rd, the score jumped to 3-0 behind a solo shot by Rawls that was crushed off the left field screen. The other run came on an RBI groundout by Cameron Campbell, driving in Davis, who initially reached on a single.

A single run crossed in the 4th on Wallace's round-tripper.

Up 4-0, the Stallions doubled that to 8-0 in the 5th.

Cooney and Campbell began with singles. Chasin Cash drove in the former on a sacrifice fly. With two outs, Wallace picked up 2 RBIs on his second homer. Not done, Tre'von Lee singled, coming in on a double by Rawls.

Brewton-Parker scored a pair in the 6th, which the Stallions countered in the 7th.

Cash singled and stole second, then Rothschild boomed a home run to the deepest part of the ballpark.

ABAC improved to 17-8, 4-3 in Southern States Athletic Conference competition.
