TIFTON, Ga. - Make it seven wins in a row for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College baseball. The Stallions finished off a three-game sweep Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Spartanburg Methodist College.

Kade Haywood's record improved to 3-0. He allowed two earned runs over 7 innings of work. Tre'von Lee earned the save with 2 frames of spotless relief. Lee struck out 3 batters and escaped an inherited bases-loaded jam in the 8th with a strikeout and double play.

A double steal gave the Stallions a 1-0 lead in the 1st. Cameron Campbell and Quinten Rawls initiated the steals and an error on the play allowed Rawls to score.

In the 3rd, the Stallions ran it to 2-0 on Dylan Davis' sacrifice fly that scored Campbell.

Single runs in the 4th and 6th allowed Spartanburg Methodist to tie it up.

ABAC broke out of that tie in the bottom half. Davis singled in Billy Girgis. An insurance run crossed in the 7th, Zack Bowman coming home on a Campbell base hit.

Girgis had the only multi-hit game for the Stallions at 2. Campbell drove in a pair of runs.

ABAC has a full home weekend ahead. The Stallions play thrice, a single game against Fort Lauderdale at 3 p.m. and a doubleheader of sorts Saturday. At noon they take on Fort Lauderdale again and at around 5 p.m., ABAC plays John Melvin University.
