TIFTON, Ga. - Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College basketball teams return to action Thursday evening, Jan. 28 for home games versus Faulkner University. This will be the start of a short home stretch, as the Fillies and Stallions face off against the University of Mobile Saturday.
The Fillies begin at 5:30 p.m. tonight against a Faulkner crew that is 13-6 overall and 7-3 in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
Faulkner's women have won its last three ballgames, including a 97-45 rout of Life University last week.
Numbers aren't flashy for Faulkner. as they balance the lineup with nine players averaging 16 minutes or more. Ruthie Smith averages 14.9 points per game and Morgan Holland DeWitt is at 10.9.

Shakiria Chaney is not only the SSAC's top scorer at 23.2 points per game, Chaney is second among all NAIA women's players in average.
The Stallions seek their first win since November.
Matthew Mairena is third in the conference in scoring, averaging 17.5 per game. He has been automatic from the free throw line and his 91.9% is tops among all SSAC players, and sixth nationally.
Mobile comes in Saturday after visiting Thomas University today.
Entering the Night Hawks contest, the Mobile women are 6-5 overall, 2-8 in conference competition. The men are 5-16, with all five victories coming under the SSAC banner. A big reason for that is that their first eight games were forfeit losses.
