MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The ABAC Stallion tennis team enjoyed its most successful day of the season Friday with a 7-0 sweep of the Blue Mountain Christian Toppers.
 
The match marked the first Southern States Athletic Conference win for the Stallions and they accomplished the feat in dominant fashion. ABAC won all six singles matches without losing a set and also swept the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
 
In singles, sixth-seeded Milan Volbert had the biggest win, defeating Joel Renfroe 6-0, 6-1. Fifth-seeded Matthew Rodgers was also impressive, knocking off Luke Sanders 6-0, 6-2. At the top of the ladder, top-seeded Ryan Neveu beat Elio Garnier 6-1, 6-4 and second-seeded Luka Blache beat Santiago Perdomo 6-1, 6-1. At number three, Thibaut Blanchart topped Leo Schon 6-4, 6-1 while Artur Lovison won at number four, beating Jackson Ward 6-3, 6-3.
 
In doubles, ABAC's team of Neveu and Blache beat Schon and Garnier 6-4 at number one while Maximilian Marquard and Benjamin Ranby-Al beat Renfroe and Sanders 6-2 at number two. In the number three match, Sean Canevet and Volbert won 6-4 over Ward and Perdomo.
 
The Stallions will remain in Montgomery for a Saturday match against the University of Mobile.
