The ABAC Fillies fell behind early and could never erase the deficit Thursday night in a 97-57 loss to SSAC rival Brewton-Parker at Gressette Gym.
 
The Lady Barons built a 22-8 lead after one period of play and kept the pressure on the home team as they cruised to the win. The Fillies suffered another tough offensive outing, hitting only 27 percent of their shots and too often trying to catch up from 3-point range, where they hit 6 of 29 attempts.
 
Brewton-Parker's depth was apparent as they had six players in double figures, led by Chasity Degale's 23 points and 9 rebounds. ABAC's Shakiria Chaney led all players in points (27) and rebounds (13) while Reese Riddle added 10.
 
The Fillies will round out their season Saturday at noon on the road against Thomas University.
