TIFTON, Ga. - Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College started its weekend baseball series against Point on the right foot, earning a 10-7 win in the opening contest Friday.
The Stallions took an early 4-1 lead, but had to break out of a 7-7 tie in the 7th inning.

Billy Girgis walked to load the bases with two outs.
Quinten Rawls unloaded the bases with a double to center, Taylor and Rothschild scoring.
Point University threatened ABAC's newly-won lead in the 8th. The Skyhawks had the bases loaded with one down when Stallions' leader Greg Williams opted to bring in

Lee completed the save with a 1-2-3 9th.
The Skyhawks scored first Friday, a single run in the 2nd before ABAC exploded for four in the bottom half.
Taylor, Rothschild and
Parker Wallace reached on a walk and two singles. With
Trace Hodges in to run for Wallace,
Billy Girgis bounced a single over second base, scoring two runs.
Zack Bowman made it 3-1 with a sacrifice fly that brought in Hodges. Girgis became the fourth run on a wild pitch.
Point scored three in the 3rd frame to tie it up again before ABAC took a tentative 5-4 lead.Â
Cameron Campbell reached on an error and Wallace drove him in with a single.
Tied again in the 4th, single runs in the 5th and 6th got the Stallions back out in front.
Taylor's sacrifice fly in the 5th plated
Dylan Davis. An inning later, Hodges (again running for Wallace), came home on a sacrifice fly by Bowman.Â
Point made one more comeback, two runs in the 7th to make it 7-7.
Reigh Jordan started Friday and went four innings.
Drew Hurst, first man out of the pen, pitched 3 1/3 innings to pick up his 4th win of the year.
