TIFTON, Ga. - A slow start cost the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Fillies Thursday night in an SSAC conference basketball game against Faulkner University.
The Fillies posted 6 points in the 1st quarter and were unable to dig out of the hole in a 91-60 loss to Faulkner.
Though the outcome was a tough one,
Zamiyah Hosley had a sensational game at 14 points. Hosley made 4 of 5 three-point attempts and added 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
Shakiria Chaney was ABAC's top scorer at 17 points, which she combined with 2 blocks and 4 rebounds.
Reese Riddle posted 13 points.
The Fillies return to action Saturday at noon against Mobile at Gressette Gymnasium.
