TIFTON - Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College's cross country Stallions earned a fifth-place finish Sept. 5 as they traveled to the Valdosta State Border Clash.

The Stallions had three runners finish in under 30 minutes and one more to barely miss that mark.

Alec Stapp finished in 28:49. Alex Ayala's time was 29:06, with Sergio Martinez on his heels at 29:17.

Canyon Crawford crossed the finish line in 30:50; Nathaniel Mobley in 36:52 and Matthew Mariena in 39:04.

ABAC is set to run Friday, Sept. 12 in Gainesville at a meet hosted by the University of North Georgia.
