DANVILLE, Ala. - Alec Stapp led the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Stallions at Friday's Southern States Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship.

Stapp was 40th overall at the meet, which took place at Oakville Indian Mounds Park. His time was 29:11.

In addition to having the top finish of any Stallion, Stapp was named to the SSAC's Champions of Character Team.

Sergio Martinez, Alex Ayala and Canyon Crawford also competed for ABAC at Oakville.

Martinez was 51st in 30:05, Ayala was 57th in 31:06 and Crawford was 59th in 31:31. ABAC did not qualify for a team score.
